These elongated subway tiles are handmade and twice-fired in a wood-burning kiln using centuries-old techniques. With its mix of metallic black and bronze colors and naturally irregular surface, each tile reflects the artistry of true craftsmanship.

The handcrafted tiles of the Emery collection are made using deliberately slow production techniques, with each tile taking more than 30 days from start to finish. The patience shown by ceramics masters yields brilliant colors and artisanal surfaces. Made in Italy, this collection features an array of formats including finishing pieces.

The Emery collection is crafted in a meticulous, traditional method that has been passed down for generations. The process begins with high-quality rock clay. Once purified, it is pressed into wooden molds, then left to air dry for several weeks. Once dry, the clay is fired in a wood burning kiln for 36 hours, hand glazed, and fired again for 20 more hours. Pre-sealing helps protect it from moisture damage, stains, and general wear. Trim in .5×8 1/4 round bullnose available in colors; orange, white, bronze, mixed metallic, copper, yellow, blue, and selenium red.
