Quarried and cut in India using the traditional splitting process, each piece is then tumbled to lightly soften and smooth the surface, for unique texture that still features variation in thickness and shading. Unique among slates, natural oxidation lends the California Gold collection its vibrant palette. A swath of warm golds and rusty browns cover its neutral gray base, creating rich coloring that’s full of character. The collection features two finish types: a fully textured natural cleft and a softened, more refined tumbled, both showcasing the unique variations in shading and thickness that slate is known for.
